In the interest of sharing something that may be unusual to the majority of you...
did you know, that when it rains... the steady, all-day, soaking kind of rain... that the deer (and elk, too- I just don't have any photos of them) just bed down? Not under trees... not trying to take shelter. They just bed down for the duration of the shower.
Oh- they will get up and feed a bit, but then, they just bed down again.
They look so cute... just chillin' in the yard. Perhaps, they are just waiting to see a rainbow!
