Although the first few days of their visit were cool, it heated up fairly quickly, and it was decided we needed to spend the day on the boat in order to cool off!
Natalie got Lani ready. Luckily, we'd saved the life vests from our children, and found two that fit Lani, and LJ perfectly!
Lani was less than thrilled with her life vest.
But once on the boat, everyone felt better.
We beached at our favorite spot- set out the cooler, towels, etc.
Lani got right to the business of eating. She LOVES eating. :)
We even got her in the water... although she didn't like that quite as much.
LJ was all ready to get going!
So, we got Cade and LJ on the tube while Natalie, Sherry and Lani played on shore, and watched.
Cade did some skiing, but there were no other takers.
And so, we decided to go for a boat ride.
Bruce turned to LJ and asked him if he'd like to drive the boat... I think you can guess what the reply was :)
He was a natural!!! Did a SUPER job with NO help!
Pretty soon, he'll be bringing the boat in all by himself...
Instead of helping Cade do it. I wonder how Cade is going to feel about that?
