They weren't here long, before everyone wanted to meet the mares. LJ fell in love with Journey, of course, especially since we told him she was the horse he'd be able to ride.
We saddled her up, and LJ sat her like a pro.
Off they went. LJ started off holding onto the horn of the saddle (like just about everyone does) but soon, we had him holding his arms out to the sides, straight up in the air, petting Journey's neck, etc. The next time he rides, I'll give him the reins.
Natalie got to ride Wynter, but I'd left my camera in the house, and didn't get any photos :(
But she was GREAT! She just has a natural way around horses. Someday, she's going to have her own again.
But I think she's going to have to share with LJ :)
